7-week intensive summer study course

Study in idyllic Salzburg this summer where you will complete one module of German language study in an accredited language school, have private voice lessons and coaching, take part in a 5 day masterclass series with Barbara Bonney, as well as having plenty of time to explore the area and experience the culture.

The tuition for each 7-week course is €4,450.00

This summer’s schedule is as follows:

Arrive on May 14, 2024, and depart on July 4, 2024

German classes are each Tuesday and Thursday from 13.30-16.00, beginning on 5/16 and ending on 7/3 for a total of 37.5 hours of instruction.

• Weeks 5/20, 5/27, 6/3, 6/10, 6/17, 6/24, and July 1 include 5 hours a week of an intensive German class (A1.1 or appropriate level)

The weeks of 5/20, 5/27 include:

• one 45-min private session with Barbara Bonney 

• one 45-minute private coaching session with a pianist 

• one 45-minute private session with Victoria Browers (a mixture of vocal work, resume/bio/website building/consulting)  

The weeks of 6/3, 6/10, & 6/24 include:

• one 45-min private session with Barbara Bonney 

• one 45-minute private coaching session with a pianist 

The week of June 17 & July 1, each participant will participate in a 3 day masterclass series with Barbara Bonney.  The schedule for these classes is as follows: 

• 3 days from 10.00-13.00 Master Class/Group Lessons with Barbara Bonney (4 singers per class and each sings for 45 min in group class) for a total of 3 additional hours of lessons with Bonney

• 2 afternoons per week will be 30 minute coaching/rehearsal with a pianist

• Friday, 6/21 and Wednesday, July 3 each singer is presented in a small recital hall performing 15 to 20 minutes of music that is professionally audio and video recorded for your own use.
