A summer experience curated just for you!
Study in idyllic Salzburg this summer where you will complete one module of German language study in an accredited language school, have private voice lessons and coaching, take part in a 5 day masterclass series with Barbara Bonney, as well as having plenty of time to explore the area and experience the culture.
The tuition for each 4-week course is €3,385.00
This summer’s schedule is as follows:
Arrive on July 6, 2024, and depart on August 3, 2024
German classes are each Monday, Wednesday and Thurs day from 8.30-12.30, beginning on 7/8 and ending on 7/29 for a total of 40 hours of instruction.
Weeks 7/8, 7/15 and 7/22 (and 7/29 only) include 12 hours a week of an intensive German class (A1.1 or appropriate level) meeting m, w and f from 8.30-12.30.
The weeks of 7/8, 7/15 and 7/29 include:
one 45-min private session with Barbara Bonney
one 45-minute private coaching session with a pianist
one 45-minute private session with Victoria Browers (a mixture of vocal work, resume/bio/website building/consulting)
The week of July 22nd, each participant will participate in a 5 day masterclass series with Barbara Bonney. The schedule for these classes is as follows:
7/22-7/25: 14.00-17.00 Master Class/Group Lessons with Barbara Bonney (4 singers per class and each sings for 45 min in group class) for a total of 3 additional hours of lessons with Bonney
7/23 and 7/25 (30 minute coaching/rehearsal with pianist)
7/26 (2-hour session with Bonney and pianist as a dress rehearsal for concert) each singer is presented in a small recital hall performing 15 to 20 minutes of music that is professionally audio and video recorded for your own use.
Special Opportunity: The week of July 28th-August 3 all students are invited to audit and observe Barbara Bonney Master Classes in collaboration with Presto Arts each day from 10.00-1.00 at the Künstlerhaus in Salzburg.
Each singer is responsible for their own travel, accommodation and food expenses, but we help to coordinate housing.
